Coron, Palawan Part 2

Right after the island tour, we headed to Maquinit hotspring. I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed a hotspring. They said Maquinit was supposedly a volcano but it became inactive even before it was a volcano. This story was from a local that I asked. Tricycle ride costs 200php one way. It’s way up in the mountain so be kind to your driver. Coron locals are one of the nicest people in the world. They don’t take advantage of their tourists. They charge right. They don’t ask for additional money.

The following morning, we took a hike to Mt.Tapyas. You need to take 721 steps to reach the top where the big cross is located. Don’t forget to bring your towels and water. It will test your endurance and leg power. 👊🏽 The steps are marked to remind you how many more steps you need to take hahaha! Kidding aside, it was hard. I do exercise regularly but the cardio it brought me was unexpected.
